How to Use Solid Builder Gel for Perfect Nail Extensions
Step 1: Prep Your Nails
- Push back the cuticles and gently remove any dead tissue to create a clean nail surface.
- File your nails to a matte state and remove any oil from the surface.
- Apply pH Prep and Glam Guard (primer) to the nails, allowing it to air dry completely.
- Apply a base coat and cure under an LED lamp for 60 seconds.
Step 2: Apply the Solid Builder Gel with Precision
Choose the Right Dual Forms
- Select dual forms that are slightly larger than your natural nails to ensure proper coverage.
Scoop and Shape the Gel
- Use the metal side of the dual-ended tool to scoop out a small amount of Solid Builder Gel.
- Wear gloves to protect from any potential gel allergies and roll the gel into a small ball with your fingers (remember, it’s non-sticky!) and place it into the dual form.
- Use your fingers or a brush to evenly spread and smooth the gel inside the form.
Step 3: Apply and Cure
Apply the Dual Form
- Gently press the dual form onto your natural nail, ensuring it’s positioned correctly.
- Flip your nail over and clean up any excess gel near the skin with a brush to keep the edges neat.
Cure the Gel
- Attach a clip to hold the form in place and cure under an LED lamp for 60 seconds.
Step 4: Perfect the Shape
Remove the Dual Form
- After curing, gently hold the two small tabs at the end of the dual form. Twist them lightly while lifting gently, and the form will pop off in a few seconds.
- File the nail to your desired shape, ensuring a smooth and flawless finish.
Step 5: Finish with Style
- You can now continue with your normal dip powder or gel color application, or enjoy your sleek, natural looking nails!
Apply Your Top Coat
- Apply Gel Top and cure for another 60 seconds (or Glossy 2.0 for dip powder) to seal in your beautiful new nail extensions.
Sculpting Flowers or Hearts/Various Designs with Solid Builder Gel
* Scoop a small amount of the Sculpting Gel using the metal side of the tool and place it onto the nail where you'd like the design.
* Roll the gel into a tiny ball for each petal (for flowers) or part of the heart shape, and place them on the nail.
* Use the brush to gently mold and refine each shape. For flowers, create each petal individually, and for hearts, shape the gel into a smooth, rounded heart.
* Once the design is perfect, cure for 60 seconds to set the beautiful details in place.
